Kim Hyun Joong is set to return to the South Korean music scene after a near 2 year hiatus, with his 3rd mini album ‘ROUND 3’.
KEYEAST Entertainment stated on July 8th, “Kim Hyun Joong will be releasing his new album ‘ROUND 3’ on July 22nd and begin promotions.” This marks Hyun Joong’s return after his 2nd mini album ‘Lucky’ which was released in October 2011, and ends his 1 year 9 months hiatus. The news of his impending album release have also generated much attention from his fans.In the teaser photo that came along with the announcement, Kim Hyun Joong is seen flexing his back muscles while appearing naked, while his shoulders seemed to have tattoos of traditional Korean patterns imprinted on them, and left a huge impression on fans. The new mini album will contain a total of 6 songs which will include ‘Your Story’, ‘Unbreakable’, ‘Let’s Party’, and 3 others.
His title song ‘Your Story’ which seeks to move one’s heart with his sad lyrics and melody, is actually a re-arranged R&B version of his Japanese song of the same title that was found in his Japanese studio album ‘Unlimited’ that was released last year.
Kim Hyun Joong is currently filming for his album cover and music video, while also starring in SBS TV variety show ‘Barefooted Friends’, where he is receiving much love from viewers.
