Kim Hyun Joong touched the hearts of his fans with a closeup documentary.

MBC′s K-Pop Stars Take Over the World-Lucky Guy Kim Hyun Joong, which aired on April 14, showed how the man became a global hallyu star. The broadcast successfully depicted Kim Hyun Joong′s passion, modesty and positive mindset.

While preparing for his concert, Kim Hyun Joong became a strict professional, while when he was with his colleagues and staff, he transformed into their closest friend.

In the documentary, Kim Hyun Joong added to the moving air by saying, "Concerts are a time when I can communicate and be in harmony with my audience. My role is to touch the hearts of those who have come to see the performance."

After the broadcast, netizens showed their support with comments such as, ′It was a broadcast that let me know why Kim Hyun Joong became a hallyu star′ and ′He′s still modest even at his status′.

[4D News] Kim Hyun Joong to Talk about His Depression

Kim Hyun Joong will update his Korean fans about his recent activities and whereabouts on the upcoming episode of MBC special "K-Pop Star Bewitches the World - Lucky Guy Kim Hyun Joong." This program documents Kim Hyun Joong's overseas activities, album preparation, and concert practices and his earnest feelings and opinions. Since he has not made on-screen appearance in Korea for a while, this will quench the thirst of his fans. 

Moreover, Kim Hyun Joong discusses his recent depression on the show. "K-Pop Star Bewitches the World" will also document his long lasting friendship with JYJ's Jaejoong since before their debut, as well as what other friends honestly think of him as a person, singer, and actor.  

"K-Pop Star Bewitches the World" is a documentary series studying in what ways K-Pop hype is headed to and how it can improve itself through looking at K-Pop stars' lives. Starting with Kim Hyun Joong, the program will follow the lives of other famous K-Pop stars like BEAST and CNBlue. "K-Pop Star Bewitches the World - Lucky Guy Kim Hyun Joong" will air on the night of April 14 at 12:20AM KST.

[4D News] Kim Hyun Joong is a Romantic Spring Guy for ‘Hang Ten’

Kim Hyun Joong is showing he can rock not only outdoors wear but casual wear as well.

In newly released pictures for casual brand, Hang Ten, Kim sports a striped cardigan over a denim shirt, layered over a white T-shirt. Beige-colored khakis complete the ′romantic guy′ look just in time for spring.

Kim is currently preparing for his Asian fan meeting tour, which is set to kick-off in Singapore before making stops in Hong Kong, Taiwan, China, Thailand and more.

[4D News] ‘K-Pop Stars Captivating the World’ to follow around Hallyu star Kim Hyun Joong

Singer and actor Kim Hyun Joong will be sharing his hidden passions through an MBC  special titled ‘K-Pop Stars Captivating the World‘.
The program will be following top K-Pop stars like Kim Hyun Joong, CNBLUE, B2ST, and IU and go through a full 24 hour day with them to see just what is behind the scenes, in an effort to better determine whether the Hallyu wave can continue to grow all over the world or eventually run stagnant.
The focus will be on Kim Hyun Joong, especially since he’s created a Hallyu empire with his name alone. One Japanese critic had stated, “In 2012, the direction of K-Pop will change to focus on solo artists, and Kim Hyun Joong is expected to stand as leader of that change. All eyes are on him.”
‘K-Pop Stars Captivating the World’ will give a glimpse into his international activities and the preparation he undergoes for his concert at the Yokohama Arena.
The program airs on April 14th.

[4D News] Kim Hyun Joong becomes the first interviewed celebrity on ‘Yahoo! Celeb’

Singer / actor Kim Hyun Joong will be greeting his fans all over the world fans through an entertainment site that Yahoo! Korea, called ‘Yahoo! Celeb.’
‘Yahoo! Celeb’ is Korea’s version of America’s ‘Yahoo! OMG‘ and specializes in entertainment news from both domestic and abroad that cannot be found anywhere else, and Kim Hyun Joong became the first celebrity to be interviewed by the site.
To commemorate the interview, an event will be held called, ‘Kim Hyun Joong and Yahoo! Celeb’s Mission Interview’.
A staff from Yahoo! Korea said, “Kim Hyun Joong has won three years in a row on ‘Yahoo! Asia Buzz Award”, which shows that he is truly one of the top stars not only in Korea but internationally as well.  He has great influence all over and that he why he is the first celebrity to be interviewed on ‘Yahoo! [4D News] Kim Hyun Joong appointed an honorary ambassador for the UN

The inauguration ceremony for the UN‘s Korean Campaign on Contributions to Social Welfare was held at the Plaza Hotel in Seoul on March 9th. It was here that Hallyu star Kim Hyun Joong was selected as an honorary ambassador for the campaign, to spread hope amongst the Korean society.

In the photo below, the singer/actor stands between Asian Campaign representative Kim Jung Hoon, and the interim leader of the ruling Saenuri Party Park Geun Hye, who interestingly also happens to be the aunt of singer Eun Ji Won.

Congratulations, Kim Hyun Joong!
